
Prof. Albino Kalolo is a seasoned medical doctor and public health scientist with extensive experience in health systems research, rural development, and policy innovation. As an Associate Professor at St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS), he has led numerous community-based research initiatives focused on improving healthcare delivery and development outcomes in underserved areas.
His work spans key areas such as implementation science, health economics, epidemiology, and participatory research methods, ensuring that the voices of rural populations are integrated into inclusive, evidence-based solutions. At IIH, Prof. Kalolo contributes valuable insight into the intersection of research, innovation, and youth development. His expertise strengthens the hub’s efforts to design impactful programs and secure research-driven partnerships that advance rural health and entrepreneurship across Tanzania.
